Saturday was the second points race of the season, and Chloe was more than ready to drive. The car, on the other hand, had other plans. 😅

We spent most of Friday night rebuilding and changing multiple things on the car trying to get everything sorted out. After some test hits and a few more adjustments, we finally got it where it needed to be.

The hard work paid off. Chloe laid down a .003 reaction time and earned the bye run into second round. She ended up breaking out in second round, but we’re not even mad about it. After fighting the car for weeks, we finally feel like we’re getting all the bugs worked out.

Car show has been rescheduled!!

Unfortunately, the weather does not look like it will be cooperating with us tomorrow. Therefore, our Spring Cruise-In will be postponed unitl June 20th. from 3:00-8:00pm.

The Atomic Bandstand rock & roll show at the Grand Theatre will still go on as planned starting at 5:00pm. See you there!

Opening day of points at Quaker City Motorsports Park for Chloe and she came out flying!

Right off the trailer, she laid down an incredible .003 reaction time on her very first time trial. Then first round, she got even better with a .002 reaction time and took the win!

After getting off the track, we realized we had a fuel and switch issue. Mom and Dad went into full super-speed pit crew mode and changed everything as fast as possible to get her ready for second round. We rushed back down to the lanes ready to go, but unfortunately Mother Nature decided to end the day early.

Even with the rain ending the night sooner than we hoped, we couldn’t be prouder of Chloe and how hard she worked all day. Now it’s time to clean the car up and get ready for the car show next weekend!

What an amazing weekend at World of Wheels! Even though the snow cut the show short, the amount of love and support was incredible. Chloe was truly amazed by how many people remembered her from last year, and her heart was so full hearing kids say they want to be just like her. Moments like that mean everything to us. ❤️
