Payke Gymnastics Academy

Payke Gymnastics offers both men's and women's gymnastics classes, tumbling, parkour, camps and birthday parties. for the last 30 + years.

We have programs for recreation and competitive teams. Payke Gymnastics Academy was first opened in March of 1994 in South Pasadena, California by Parvin Peik. Almost 30 years later we have two facilities with growing recreational programs and great Team Programs for both girls and boys. Parvin was a National Champion in Iran and has been teaching gymnastics in the U.S. By the time she was 16 Parv

in had traveled across the Middle East, Europe and Russia in international gymnastics competitions. Peik even earned third place in line to compete in the 1964 summer Olympics in Tokyo. She graduated with a major in child development from Pacific Oaks University in Pasadena. The South Pasadena location is home to an almost 30 year old award winning Girls Team. The Alhambra location is home to a 25+ year old award winning Boys Team. The best Boys Program in the San Gabriel Valley and one of the best in the nation. Our team is a family and always has been, that’s what sets us apart. We have spent almost 30 years creating our unique style and have enjoyed watching thousands of little gymnasts blossom into successful and happy people.

Summer Camp starts next week! We have camp and rec classes available all summer long! No gymnastics experience required. Come have fun with exciting games and activities, meet new friends, learn gymnastics and other great exercises!

Are you ready for summer? School is almost out and we have Summer Camp starting soon! Our Summer Camp runs from June 8th through August 14th. Kids will practice gymnastics, play exciting games and group activities, daily arts & crafts, pizza party Fridays, and more! We have daily and weekly options and a discount for siblings.

Half Day (9am-12pm or 12-3pm) $55/day, $275/week (Early Bird weekly price: $225)**

Full Day (9am-3pm) $90/day, $425/week (Early Bird weekly price: $350)**

Weekly Sibling Discount $50

**Must receive payment 1 month prior to camp week to receive early bird discount.

GIRLS TEAM TRYOUTS!
Saturday June 13th, 11am

We are looking for girls who LOVE gymnastics and want to join a
competitive program!

What is XCEL gymnastics?
XCEL Team provides gymnasts a competitive team experience
without the multi-day, long hour practice commitment that a
traditional USAG compulsory program requires.

Entry Levels:
PreTeam - This level does not compete and preps the girls for the
Bronze level.

Bronze - This is the first competitive level and includes level 1-2
skills from our rec program (New & Shining Stars)

Silver - This is the second competitive level and includes level 1-3
skills (New/Shining/Rising/Super)

Gold - This is the third competitive level. All gymnasts must pass
the silver level to move into this group. Passing requires achieving
certain scores at the state competition.

Platinum/Diamond/Sapphire - These are the advanced levels.
Each level must be passed to move into the next.

Practice:
PreTeam - 1 x week, 2 hours
Bronze/Silver/Gold - 1, 2, or 3 x week, 3 hour practices

Competition: Season is Jan-May. Additional fees for uniform, entry
and coaches fees range from $600-1000 per season.

We are open for Memorial Day on Monday May 26th and will be hosting a day of exciting camp! Camp hours are from 9am to 3pm and we have half or full day options available. The camp day includes gymnastics practice, stretching, group games and activities, arts & craft time, and breaks for snack and lunch. We will provide a healthy snack for all morning campers.

Half Day (9am-12pm or 12-3pm) - $55

Full Day (9am-3pm) - $90

We will also be hosting a Pizza Party lunch which includes pizza, chips, fruit and juice for $5 cash to be paid to the office in the morning or prior to camp.

Enrollment is now open and can be done online via the parent portal, over the phone, or by visiting our office!
