Coach Payton

This week's Feature Friday is the newest member of our coaching staff! Payton is from Gilberts, Illinois, and graduated from Hampshire High School, where he competed in both baseball and cross country. He is currently entering his senior year at Wisconsin Lutheran College, where he continues his baseball career while pursuing degrees in Marketing and Sports Management, along with a minor in Digital Marketing.

Payton began training at ETS during winter break this past December and joined the coaching staff in May. Since then, he has enjoyed building relationships with athletes and helping them work toward their goals every day.

One of Payton’s favorite parts of coaching is watching athletes push themselves, gain confidence, and see their hard work pay off. He is passionate about creating a positive environment where athletes can grow both on and off the field and is excited to continue helping them become the best versions of themselves.

Liam brings great energy every time he steps into ETS. He attacks every workout with enthusiasm, competes with those around him, and is always looking for ways to improve.

As a football and basketball athlete, Liam does a great job embracing challenges, learning new movements, and pushing himself outside of his comfort zone. His positive attitude and willingness to work make him a pleasure to coach.

We’re excited to watch Liam continue to develop and can’t wait to see all of his hard work translate to the field and the court.

Addi Edlen .edlen

Addi was one of our first-ever 10 members at ETS, and she has been consistent every single week since opening day. She is a softball player for Hampshire High School and T-Force, and her work ethic continues to separate her from everyone else around her.

This past winter, Addi put together back-to-back 4 home run tournaments and then followed it up with a school-record 14 home runs during the high school season. None of that happens by accident. If you have ever watched Addi train, you understand exactly why she is having so much success.

She works hard every single day, stays committed to the process, accepts coaching, and constantly pushes herself to improve. Addi has earned everything coming her way through consistency, discipline, and the way she attacks every workout.

Addi represents everything we value at ETS, competitive, disciplined, coachable, and committed to getting better over time. The success she is seeing now is the result of the work she puts in behind the scenes, and we know she is only getting started.

We are incredibly proud of you, Addi, and we cannot wait to continue watching your hard work pay off this summer and throughout her career (at Coastal).
