Looks like the weather is going to co-operate this weekend . . . and the Fish have been Hinting that they will as well . . .

BASS
Largemouth have been active, traditional topwater and shaded structure producing . . . And at depth if you can find the ACTIVE ZONE near - in - at the top of - at the bottom of - around Deep Water W**d Cover . . . catch an accidental or small fish.in that area and you will know what the Big Bass are most likely feeding on . . . And where they are at . . .

PANFISH
Good and Big Gills in spots in and around structure . . . might find the really big ones hanging out in the open if they are too big for Pike (Crappie Too)

Essox
Still a little slow . . . Summer not done yet . . . Find the perfect temperature, with slight current if you can for the " P " . . .

Careful with the " M ", water temps and oxygen still rough on them and make sure if you do catch one . . . You spend the time needed to revive it !!!

Weather has been perfect . . . those fishing have been doing well and we are at the best time of the season to get out on a . . .

Week-Day . . . in a BOAT . . .

Three Oaks would be perfect right now . . . But . . . . Well, you can't go out at Three Oaks cause they aren't renting boats weekdays now . . .

. . . $30 Million dollars for Initial Development and Thousands and Tens of Thousands of dollars in property taxes per Family, ( year upon year) combined with the fees for Rental by residents and the Premium Fees Non-Residents Pay to rent boats aren't enough to keep boat rental open till the end of September like most other Boat Rental facilities . . .

But you do have options this Summer and Fall to take advantage of best time to Fish if your older, can't do the walking, heat or crowds !!!!

And a slew of Kayak Rental Kiosks in the area . . .
. . if your lucky enough to have Saturday's and Sundays off . . . (Un-like those of Us who work the Fishing Industy, send customers out to Three Oaks for the benefit of Crystal Lake, those of you who Work in retail or the Food Service Industrys in Crystal lake helping the Town humm in the Weekends) . . . You can still rent Fishing Boats on the Weekend at Three Oaks . . .

For the rest, get out to your local Ponds or the Fox River because Nature says the Summer Fishing Season is still going . . . Even if one City Council dosen't think so . . .

Today is the CONNOR KINKAID Fishing Derby in Lake in the Hills on WoodsCreek Lake.

Event starts at 7:00 AM and there is Sign up on Site at the Labahn Hain House.(by the Silo)
. . Tell them Larry at the Bait Shanty sent you . . .

Looks like Rain will mostly dodge us here so if you are on the fence about Fishing Today . . . This may be a Quick - Close event to take the kids (or yourself) to before school starts Monday.

In the past, funds raised from the event have gone directly into the stocking of the lake . . . A nice Memorial for a Local Angler, and the Stocking helps keep his Memory movining forward !

School is Starting for alot of people this week and next making this the Last Weekend of Summer Vacation for Many !

Get out there and MAKE IT COUNT !!!

We are at the Last couple days of Weekday Boat Rental at Three Oaks . . . According to them . . .

Remember when they went till LABOR DAY ?

And before that they went till the the end of Summer (9/21). Smart, cause its actually just getting nice enough to go out in a boat during the day . . .

Contrary to the what's happening with the Boat Rental in C.L. . . . It Looks like we have alot of Season left and Summer Patterns are gonna be here for a Bit . . . Or a Bite if your Going Topwater.
