Excited to see everyone tonight at the banquet! Sorry it has taken so long to post, but I’ve been having issues with it. April 25th saw us down at Raccoon Ridge Archery’s range. It is in the woods along the Raccoon River between Stuart and Panora, Ia. It was a beautiful day and the archers were challenged by the bonus targets, which were set up ACROSS the river! No getting those arrows back! 🏹

Last Saturday did not turn out the way any of us expected, but it was still a great day and it was nice to just explore with the archers for a while!

Our 'supposed to be' outdoor tournament at Mid Iowa Archers in Indianola on Saturday became an indoor 3D home tourney due to nasty weather. We changed up the course and made some difficult shots but the kids did so well! Out of 540 points possible HS Ladies' placements- 1st Karsyn Myhre 429, 2nd Deitra Broesder 416

Mother nature through a tantrum, so we switched to plan B! Hope the kids like the new set up! So thankful to Craig Hjelmeland and Algona Floor Design for allowing us to use this space!!

Saturday April 4th marked our last indoor meet of the season. We travelled up to Albert Lea where we were hosted by the Full Draw Archery Club of Albert Lea Mn. Everyone was able to experience targets that popped up and others that travelled a track. Moving targets are always a treat! Saturday took us up to Medford to Straight River Archery for an indoor 3D tournament after the bus forgot to come get us 🤣🤣. A few archers went outside their comfort zone & tried for extra points at some harder targets. Some were successful!! Cael Charbonneaux nocked the ping pong ball down, Karsyn Myhre stuck the apple and Wyatt Schaffer nailed the steel turkey! All received an extra 20 pts. HS boys 1st Gavin Nemmers, 2nd Wyatt Schaffer. HS ladies 1st Kinley Karels, 2nd Karsyn Myhre. MS boys 1st Cael Charbonneaux MS ladies 1st Emma Muller, 2nd Bella Stundahl.
