I shared this video with a friend yesterday. She asked me what I was doing with my right hand. Nobody had ever asked me before. I told her that movement helps me focus and brings clarity to what I’m about to attempt. Same mannerisms for 20 years (entering the circle).
Cue✅
Finding the right rhythm✅
Deep breath✅
Before entering the circle, pick one or two simple cues to focus on, not ten. The body performs best when the mind is calm, clear, and committed. Too many thoughts create hesitation. Too many corrections create tension.
Trust the training. Trust the process. Let your cues guide your rhythm, posture, patience, or finish. Whatever your throw needs most in that moment.
Great throws rarely come from overthinking.
They come from presence, trust, and commitment to the moment in front of you. 🎯
