Late post from Saturday nights race… Night 2 of the Big Dance in Logansport, IN.

Had a terrible pill draw so started at the back of the pack in my heat. Gained 2 spots finishing 7th.
That put me starting 17th in the feature in a field with 23 restricted micro sprint cars on it. 😳 A recipe for disaster. Was making a decent run of it slowly gaining positions and was even up to 9th place at one point. On the final lap in the last corner, I got T-boned by another car taking us both out, so they placed me 16th. 💩

With that being said, I am off this weekend while my car gets fixed and Daniel Robinson runs the Highbanks Hustle at SIR.

Night 1 of the Big Dance at US 24 Speedway in Logansport, IN.

I ran my Restricted Micro and there were 28 total entries in this class alone from all over the country!

I was just two spots off from locking into the big show tomorrow, so I guess we’ll try all over again! Thanks to my crew chief Daniel Robinson for all you do!

Got it done tonight at the NARA Wing Challenge Series presented by KKM at Southern Illinois Raceway.

Heat 2➡️1
Feature 2➡️1

I ran 2nd for about 3/4 of the race while my buddy Dalton was running 1st.
The track changed and we made the right decision to move back to the top and was able to catch up to him, we battled another 1/2 a lap and then I was finally able to make the pass and I led the last few laps.

Thanks to my crew chief Daniel Robinson for all his work on the car and Skyler Kelsoe for helping as well! Also, Daniel made his return to racing tonight after a 7 week break healing up from his bad crash. I know he’s happy to be back in the seat!

Night 1 of the National Open Wheel 600 Series
Cornfield Combat at Macon Speedway. 16 entries with some really great drivers.

Not quite the night we were hoping for. There were no hot laps, just straight into qualifying and I just didn’t find my line fast enough so I didn’t qualify very well. 6th in my group. That started me 6th out of 8 in my heat.

Positions were gained at least.

Night #2 of the KKM Giveback Challenge Series in Columbus, IN.
Went 5➡️3 in my heat which put me starting 3rd in the feature.
They had us pack in the track then park while they worked the track. Unfortunately, my night ended early. Car wouldn’t restart as the fuel pump went out. Some more bad luck. That too is racing!

A roller coaster of emotions tonight at Night 1 of the KKM Giveback Challenge at Tony Stewart Speedway in Columbus, IN.
Went 4➡️2 in my heat
That started me 2nd in the feature!
Within a few laps, I passed the leader but a caution came out so I was put back into 2nd on the restart. Same thing happened again when I passed the leader the 2nd time. With only a couple of laps to go, I made contact with the leader going into turn 1 and spun. I was able to keep going but was at the back. Ended up in P9. Very disappointing ending, but that’s racing! I will try again tomorrow.
