🚨 BIG NEWS FROM PELICAN SOFTBALL REPORT 🚨
We are proud to announce the launch of our new **PSR Evaluation Events** — created to help identify talent, encourage development, and provide meaningful exposure for softball players across Louisiana.
Our first two events will take place in **June**, and the first one will be our **2031 & 2032 Identification Showcase**.
Next up will be our Uncommitted Showcase.
This event will be **limited to just 60 participants**, giving each athlete a more focused and meaningful evaluation experience.
**Registration opens April 23.**
Players who attend will receive:
🥎 **Video evaluations**
🥎 Inclusion in our **all-new PSR database**
🥎 Honest feedback designed to help them grow and develop
This is about more than just a workout.
This is about giving young athletes the opportunity to be **seen, evaluated, and encouraged** as they continue to grow in the game they love.
**Our Mission:**
To identify talent, encourage development, and provide meaningful exposure for softball players across Louisiana through honest evaluation, quality instruction, and a platform built to celebrate and grow the game.
Louisiana is loaded with softball talent, and we believe those players deserve opportunities that shine a brighter light on their future.

UNDEFEATED DISTRICT CHAMPIONS!!
The PPHS Lady Panthers faced off against the Mamou Lady Demons tonight in a matchup that was tightly contested through the early innings. Behind a stellar performance from junior Ella Fontenot, who went a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate, the Lady Panthers broke things open with an explosive eight-run sixth inning to secure a 10-0 victory.

Senior Jolie West got the start in the circle and, with the support of a strong defensive effort, delivered a dominant one-hit shutout performance.

With hot bats, outstanding pitching, and solid defense, the Lady Panthers put together a complete team effort—sealing their fourth consecutive undefeated District 2-3A Championship in impressive fashion.

Congratulations to the Lady Panthers on an incredible achievement!

MANDEVILLE'S ELLA MATTHEWS NAMED NORTHSHORE GIRLS ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Ella Matthews, of Mandeville, has been named the Northshore Girls Athlete of the Week, following a fan vote. The sophomore left fielder went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, four runs scored and three RBIs during a 24-2 win over Alexandria on March 21.
