To our community & friends:

On Thursday August 22, our beloved gym was struck by a devastating fire. Thankfully, no one was injured, but the damage to our facility and equipment is severe. This gym has been more than just a place to work out—it's been a second home, a community hub, and a place where we've all pushed our limits together.

We are still uncertain on the state of our equipment and are waiting to determine if it's rendered unusable; the costs of repairs and replacements are definitely overwhelming. We’re reaching out to our incredible community for support during this challenging time. Any donation, big or small, will go directly toward rebuilding our gym, supporting our coaches, and getting us back on our feet.

Your generosity will help us restore the gym to its full strength, so we can continue to provide a space for health, fitness, and community. We are incredibly grateful for your support and can’t wait to welcome you all back once we’re up and running again.

Join us on Sunday, 5/19 for a two-hour Olympic lifting clinic, “Correctional Drills for Olympic Lifting.” Prior to the clinic, athletes will submit videos of their Sn**ch and Clean for a personalized analysis. We will diagnose technique errors and craft individualized programs, which will be given to each participant the day of. Athletes will receive their own specialized drills and will learn how to follow a program while receiving hands-on guidance and targeted cues based on their video submissions. Jesse Lewis, owner of District Performance will be providing 20 minute sessions for $20. 100% of proceeds will go towards Martha's Table, which provides food, mental health wellness, and early education to people in need in DC. has been on a roll! He had a mini peak the last couple weeks— only allowed to max out with no misses, and damn did he earn this PR. We’re excited to see how he’ll do this spring at Cap City. We have 11 athletes competing!
