How do we stop being a victim to our own thoughts? We start telling ourselves what to think and practice it daily.

Even with things that have nothing to do with sports or volleyball you can still practice this skill.

Because that’s what it is. It’s a skill. For lots of people it does not come naturally.

So when conflict arises, when you make a bad decision, when you make an error in Volleyball, when something happens out of your control. Work on telling yourself what to think and how to feel because it is a decision.
