If you’re waiting until you “feel motivated” to start exercising consistently, you may be waiting a long time.
Motivation is great when it shows up. But it’s unreliable.
What works better is making training something that’s just part of your week.
A few things that make that easier.
📅 Put it on the calendar.
Don’t hope you’ll find time. Pick the days and make them part of your routine.
💪 You don’t need to train every day.
For a lot of people, 2-3 good strength workouts each week is plenty to make progress.
😅 Every workout doesn’t need to crush you.
You should work hard, but being ridiculously sore for three days isn’t the goal.
📝 Have a plan.
Knowing what you’re doing when you walk into the gym makes it a whole lot easier to stay consistent.
🤝 Accountability matters.
Having a coach, a training partner, or simply knowing someone is expecting you can make a huge difference.
At NSS, we talk about this all the time.
You don’t need a perfect week. You need a routine you can keep coming back to.
That’s where the progress comes from!
