Brian Painter Campbell County Commissioner

Brian Painter Campbell County Commissioner I am running for re-election for Campbell County Commissioner, District 1.

05/20/2026

This was a win for civility in our county political discussion today.
I want to thank each person who supported my campaign this year, whether it was donating, walking doors or just taking a sign in your yard. Every little thing helps reach the goal. I plan on serving to the best of my ability for the next four years. Thank You.

I ask for your vote Tuesday. My campaign is about servant leadership. I have not disparaged my opponent, I have communicated about the merits of the work I have done and the positive effects for our community. Negative campaigning does not build up our community or people.
I have walked door to door for the last few months to over 2,000 homes. I let people know the positive things going on with their government and our respect for the taxpayer. I'm sorry if I did not make it to your door to hear your concerns and opinions, there are just too many people to personally visit in the primary. I have included here the mailers that were sent out for you to look at if you did not get one. The mailers were sent to over 10,000 households that have voted in the primary election in the past, plus all newly registered republican voters, my cards and mailers are intended to inform. Tuesday, Please lift up the servant leaders who have faithfully brought stability to our county and will continue to move our people forward in Love. Brian Painter, District 1 Campbell County Commissioner.

The first step to solving a problem is understanding the pararameters and the goals. The human workforce in Northern Kentucky is evolving and being refined to keep us current and growing in a field of competitors (other regions). This group of people are leaders in this task. Lee Crume was the moderator of the discussion. NKU, Gateway, and machine specialist Dan Janka with Mazak talked about their observations. Trades NKY will also play a large part in NKY’s future success.

Make no mistake, I fully support agriculture and the keeping of agricultural land in Campbell County. Healthy herds keeps this dream viable for ranchers and farmers. Our Agriculture agent Michelle Simon has relentlessly pursued the creation of the new Agricultural Center, now she is putting in the programming to accomplish goals for equine, cattle, sheep/goats and other stock. Challenges are being met to keep agriculture viable in Campbell County. Michelle says the best is yet to come!
I have served with our great Cooperative Extension board for the last twelve years. Under the leadership of board chair Kathy Lauer we have reduced the tax rate from 3.8 down to 2.0, yet we have managed our reserves to allow meaningful capital projects like this one to succeed. We will continue to make decisions for the taxpayers of Campbell County that benefit us all, and meet challenges.

The new Agricultural Center is a fantastic venue, come to check it out and learn from the best in the field!
