Practice Weekend Hours + Trap House Reservations

We've already had a number of teams reach out about securing practice time before the Minnesota State High School Clay Target League Championship.

ASP will be open Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM for practice.

If your team would like to reserve a specific trap house and practice time, contact us before you arrive and we'll get you on the schedule.

Practice Round Pricing

• Pre-shoot and during shoot full rounds: $10 per round
• Mornings of the shoot (½ rounds): $5 per round
• During the championship: Practice rounds will be sold individually at the Rangehouse on the trap line

The Minnesota State High School Clay Target League Trap Championships return to Alexandria Shooting Park June 15–23, and we're proud to host the largest shooting event in the country alongside the USA Clay Target League.

Over nine days, thousands of athletes, families, coaches, and volunteers will gather in Alexandria for one of the premier events in youth shooting sports.

Before You Arrive

Practice Days — June 13 & 14
Practice shooting is available from 10 AM–6 PM. Full rounds are $10, with tickets available at the ASP Rangehouse.

Camping
On-site camping with water, electric hookups, and a dump station is available. Remember:
• Check-In: After 6:00 PM
• Check-Out: Before 6:00 PM

🔵 Blue Lots: Traps 6A–9B
🔴 Red Lots: Traps WP–5B
🟠 Orange Lot: Overflow parking and trailers

No parking is permitted along the main entrance road. Event maps are available at shootasp.com.

Tomorrow Alexandria Shooting Park launches its first-ever Sporting Clays League AND Archery League on the same day.

What a day at Alexandria Shooting Park!

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our Spring Kickoff event on Saturday despite the dreary weather. The turnout, energy, and support throughout the day were incredible and a reminder of how much this community values the outdoors and shooting sports.

We’re also excited to say this will continue to be an annual spring tradition at ASP, and we’re already looking forward to next year.

A huge thank you to our clinic instructors, vendors, partners, organizations, ASP staff, and ASP ownership group for helping make the event such a success. We couldn’t do it without all of you.

Dreary skies couldn’t stop a great day.

This Saturday is the Spring Kickoff and we’re almost there.

You’ve seen the videos, you’ve seen the posts and now it’s time to show up. We’ll have a live show featuring a few of our owners, led by Steve Gould from Target Focused Life. Tyler and Zach will also be there putting their skills to the test.

Throughout the day every attendee gets an ASP Kickoff Card. Your job is simple, visit every station, get your card punched, and submit it for a chance to win a Shooter Membership. Trap, archery, sporting clays, work through all of it.

Spots in the Trap and Sporting Clays clinics are going fast. If you’ve been sitting on it, stop waiting.

On May 23rd, Alexandria Shooting Park is hosting an Introduction to Sporting Clays Clinic with Bob Hannahs of 50 Straight Clay Academy, and spots are limited to 15 for a reason. Every shooter gets real attention.

Here's how the day breaks down:
8am–10am: Classroom instruction covering everything that actually matters before you step on the course, gun fit, gun mounting, stance, vision, hold points, break areas, target reading, and lead styles. The foundation most shooters never get.

10am–Noon: Live shooting on ASP's 5-Stand with real-time coaching. Classroom concepts become muscle memory.

$100 per shooter. Your shotgun, your ammo, eye and ear protection and a willingness to learn.
One day at ASP can change how you shoot forever.

The new Sporting Clays course is open, and we're celebrating.

ASP Spring Kickoff is Saturday, May 23rd, 12–5 PM and we're giving you a reason to come out and walk the course.

We'll have one sporting clays station open for FREE that day. Come shoot it. See what we built.
