Wheel Nuts Bike Shop is extremely proud to announce we have been honored a fourth year in a row as one of America's Best Bike Shops by the National Bicycle Dealer's Association. Only 110 bike shops nationwide of 5,500 were recognized and only two other shops in the Mid-Atlantic region. Less than 20 shops are in the 4 timer's club! I am very proud and extremely grateful to our dedicated Wheel Nuts Team!

Hey Triathletes and swimmers, Autumn is nearly here. Wheel Nuts has about 25 remaining rental wetsuits that we are retiring. Many men and women long sleeve and a few short sleeve suits. Well cared for, all nicks repaired. Any suit $75 cash or $80 credit card. You may tri them on in our changing room to test fit. We started out with 70 suits. Great for a training or primary suit. Profile Design, Orca and TYR brands. Top notch!

Wheel Nuts hosted its 21st (since its inception) National Bike to Work Day Pit Stop at the shop . There were several in Alexandria and the surrounding area. We were voted Best Pit Stop!! We did a Tiki Stop theme. Providing tropical fruit, saltwater taffy, Misha's coffee, lots of free swag and bike checks and of course the Reggae Music jammin' mon! Many City officials trekked over and the official photographer will have many more pics on the Alexandria Facebook and website. Over 50 cyclists dropped by to say "Surf's Up!"

Three times a charm. Wheel Nuts is proud to announce we are recipients for the third straight year the National Bicycle Dealer's Association-Bicycle Dealer's Excellence Award. It is the highest award for a dealer to strive to achieve. Only two other shops in Virginia earned this prestigious award, 2 in Maryland and none in DC. Less than 200 were recognized this year out of 5,500 bike shops nationwide! Thanks to my amazing team for your friendly Statement of Wow Service given to our awesome customers each and every day.

It's a Christmas Miracle! We just received 16 Raleigh brand men and women hybrids today. We have waited 6 months for these to arrive. June was the last time we had bikes for sale. Please spread the word for us. If you have friends, relatives, neighbors who have been searching for bikes please let them know ASAP and send them our way. It would really help us and a loved one or friend. Thanks.
