Not every jiu-jitsu gym is a good fit—and that’s not “being soft.”

Save this if you’re shopping for a gym or send it to a friend who needs to hear it.

Look for these red flags:
- Dirty mats, rusty gear, and zero care for the space
- No women, no kids, no family vibe
- Coaches who shut down questions instead of teaching
- Injuries treated like a badge of honor
- A culture that discourages competition or cross-training
- Drugs in the gym environment

A good gym should help you get better, stay safe, and feel respected.
You should be able to train hard without drama, ask a few questions, and leave healthier than you came in.

If the vibe feels off, trust that feeling.

We’re open today with a special holiday schedule:

BJJ — 10 AM
Muay Thai — 10 AM
Boxing — 11 AM
BJJ Open Mat for Students & Guests — 11 AM

Please note: there are no Kids classes today.

The gym will close after the morning classes, and our regular schedule resumes tomorrow, Tuesday, September 8.
