We’ve got an eventful weekend of baseball ahead! 10 BA teams will take the field this weekend ready to compete, have fun, and represent the Academy!

Good luck to all of our players, coaches, and families traveling and competing this weekend. Play hard, play together, and leave it all between the lines!

Last night we had our Barnes Academy Players Meeting, getting our guys LOCKED IN for the upcoming fall season! 🔒⚾️

Super proud and thankful to have 120+ kids representing Barnes Academy this year. The organization continues to grow, but the mission stays the same: develop players, build young men, compete at a high level, and hold ourselves to a STANDARD.

We’re moving in the right direction, and we’re just getting started. Fall 2026… TIME TO WORK! 💪🏾🔥

The best infielders aren’t born—they’re built through quality reps, attention to detail, and consistency.

This August, I’m opening up small-group infield sessions designed to help young players become more confident, fundamentally sound defenders. Every player will get hands-on instruction with plenty of individual attention.

⚾ Every Monday in August
👦 Ages 6–12
⏰ Group 1: 4:00–5:00 PM
⏰ Group 2: 5:00–6:00 PM
👥 Only 5 players per session
💲 $35 per player

We’ll cover:
✅ Footwork
✅ Glove work
✅ Throwing mechanics
✅ Double plays
✅ Baseball IQ
✅ Game-speed repetitions

With only 5 players per group, spots will fill quickly. If you’re serious about helping your child become a better infielder, this is the place to be.

The wait is over! We’re excited to officially announce our Barnes Academy Fall rosters.

To every player who earned a spot—congratulations. This is just the beginning. Every team has been built with one goal in mind: development, competition, and preparing our players to perform at the highest level.

To our families, thank you for trusting Barnes Academy. We don’t take that responsibility lightly. We promise to continue pouring into these young athletes both on and off the field.

This fall we’re ready to work, compete, and represent Central Louisiana the right way. It’s time to embrace the grind, hold each other accountable, and keep raising the standard.
