I am sorry to announce that after 30 years of business Stillwater Taekwondo Club Inc. has come to an end, although plans are in effect to continue the legacy as a recreational program by several of our blackbelts our family is no longer going to operate and run the business.
As the creator of SWTKD the decision was not taken lightly by our family. Taekwondo has been a huge part of our lives and will continue to be so. Olivia did a great job taking over the day-to-day operation after my stepping down a few years ago but it has now become a huge obstacle with her time and studies in her master's program at UC. Another huge problem as many people are aware of the challenges of operating a small business during the pandemic, we just never bounced back to maintain a good level of operation for a corporation.
So, moving forward please continue to support our legacy through the new program that will start immediately upon closing of the business (info to come). I am so happy to see the legacy live on through this new recreational program that will give our students the same level of instruction and dedication. We will also continue to partner with and support the TMA under the supervision of Grandmaster Hickey.
In closing thank you for the 30 years of support and dedication in making lifelong relationships.
