🌿 Help us Maintain the Terrain at Doe Run Lake!

Join us on Saturday, September 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for a morning of giving back to one of our favorite natural spaces as part of the Ohio River Sweep.

Grab your kayak or hiking shoes and help us clean up Doe Run Lake while enjoying the park! Every set of hands helps keep our parks beautiful and our waterways clean.

🧤 Garbage bags and gloves will be provided.
📋 Need community service hours? We’re happy to sign your paperwork!
📍 Volunteers should meet in the parking area near the boat launch.

A very hot evening at the worlds fair parade at the Alexandria Fairgrounds. Thank you to our family who passed out frozen popsicles along the parade route.
Although we do not have a kayak kiosk in Alexandria, it’s great to hear from our customers along the parade route who have visited our kiosk in other communities!

The City of Wilder’s end of summer party in the park. Thank you to all who attended this hot summer night. Summer will come to an end soon, however kayak rentals will continue to be available at this location until early December depending on the temperature. Kayak rentals are available 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset.

Cincinnati tri-state area kayakers, when you see rain in the forecast that doesn’t mean we are closed!
You just have more of a chance getting wet out on the water.

Our one location that closes in the area due to rain and high water is, The Cincinnati Mill Creek Salway pool.

Happy to play a part in a world record of 1,440 paddlers on the water for the 2026 Ohio River Paddlefest! Thank you to our family for getting the kayakers to the water, and getting them off the water at the finish line.
It always serves as a early and long day every year, but we’re happy to help generate some funding for the ADVENTURE CREW !

75 kayakers explored the Thomas More Field station’s water of the Ohio River, the former site of a lock and dam system.
While guest who attended the Hellbenders concert were on the water, the Schack Family explored the field station and biology labs.

This served as our third year of participating with the concert, we’re happy to see the growth that the field station has achieved!

The cost is $15 the first hour $10 every hour after.
Each rental includes a kayak with a MAX Weight of 275 LBS, universal lifejacket, and paddles.
