Ryder Reichert dominated the NYS-USA 16-U state tournament winning both Freestyle and Greco. He finished the weekend 9-0 with 6 tech falls and 2 pins! His only match that didn't end in a fall/tech fall was in the Greco finals where he dominated the match throughout winning 9-4. He is now qualified to represent NYS in Fargo, ND at USA Wrestling Nationals in July!

Austin Post (Pembroke) competed hard and picked up 3 hard fought victories over the weekend.

Jasmine Brucato (HFL) won both the 16u Freestyle and Greco titles in dominating fashion getting tech falls in all 3 of her matches! She also qualified for Nationals in Fargo!

Kennedy Lear finished 3rd in Freestyle and 2nd in Greco and qualified for Nationals in Fargo!

Anabelle Wessel finished 4th in Freestyle and 3rd in Greco, as a returning All-American, she will again represent NYS at Nationals in Fargo this July.

Emma Gallaway and Alyssa Adair wrestled hard and represented Alexander proudly!

Overall it was a great weekend to be a Trojan!

State Tournament update!!!

Kennedy Lear went 2-2 with two big wins including a 5 point throw.

Jasmine Brucato stormed back to earn a tech fall in the semis to advance to the Finals at 4pm

Alexander crowned 2 champions in the Lockport Girls Tournament, Anabelle Wessel pinned and teched her way through the 94 pound weight class, while Kennedy Lear won the 114 pound title with an amazing takedown to take the lead with 12 seconds left in the finals! Maylee Moore also finished fourth for the team!
