This All-Star Szn will be one to remember. It was the first time we’ve entered into a World Series event (finally) after longing to for the past few years, and I can humbly & proudly say these girls grew & improved in some way… Every tournament we went to and every team we played they received compliments especially this past week. Other coaches, players, & fans of other teams that we also didn’t even play, would come to us and say ”y’all are literally one of the best teams here that we’ve seen” “Keep going, don’t let this one weekend affect you guys,” “it happens to the best” or “you guys are the ones we came here knowing we’d have to play”, and to me that says a lot…
Every game that we did lose this past week was by 1point, 3 were in tiebreaker rule. Everyone around were all shocked that we ended up in Silver Bracket, but the girls finally came out of their slump & finished runner-up. But we all know, almost don’t count. However, we didn’t go get our tails kicked like we heard many say.
In all honesty, our losses were b/c we beat ourselves & didn’t close out the games. As a little league team coach, I’m proud of my girls. They ended their szn 16-8-1. We finally came together as one, & I would go to back for each of these girls as they would for me. Ask their parents, they don’t play about Coach K lol. To me, that’s one of the best impacts aside from leaving them with some knowledge & knowing that many of them began to love the game even more & wanting to continue to put in the work.

Trust me, they wanted the gusto like the big sisters, but hey, they didn’t come back empty handed! Congratulations girls!! Y’all will see them again!
