Grand Island Modelers Remote control flyers For over a half a century, our modeler’s have been flying the skies above Grand Island, NE. Join Us.

Our 70+ members come from all across the great plains. Our club features a fabric runway, air-conditioned club house, deck and shaded canopies with electrical hookups for pilots, families
and spectators. A half dozen times each year, you’ll find us hosting spectacular radio controlled events such as the Fall Festival, the Winter Fun Fly and Central Nebraska’s largest rc-aircraft event... commonly

referred to as
the “Big Bird“. We welcomes you to enjoy the hobby of radio controlled model aviation with us. You’ll meet other’s that share your interest in flying remote control airplanes, helicopters and park flyers. And to get you started, our qualified instructors can safely teach you to fly with our clubs trainer plane.
