Maryville Isshin-Ryu is pleased to welcome Master Art Palmer to visit and instruct at our dojo on Thursday September 10th from 7pm to 8:30pm.

Master Palmer is a 9th degree black belt and is known for teaching strong and traditional Isshin-Ryu techniques. He is also known for developing knowledgeable and highly competitive members of the Isshin-Ryu community.

We welcome him from Crossville and hope to see you there!

Wow! We had a great time at the recent anti-bullying seminar hosted by our friends at Kelly’s Heroes and led by IHOF Instructor of the Year, Master Ben Gibson. The simple and effective techniques were great training tools for the kids and adults in attendance.

After the seminar, we had fun enjoying food and fellowship at the local park. It was a great day all around!

We were beyond excited to issue a promotion in our kids class earlier this week.

It’s a big deal to earn an orange belt in our kids class. It takes time and means you have been consistently coming to class, working hard, accepting new things, and setting a great example.

Our Children's Class (7-12 year-olds) meets each Wednesday from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Only $20.00 a month!

Our Teens and Adult class meets on Monday and Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. Only $40.00 a month.

Summer classes are starting up! Teens & Adults meet each Monday and Thursday night (7:00pm to 8:30pm). Kids (7 to 12 year-olds) meet each Wednesday from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. New students are welcome to join!

Our most sincere condolences to the family and friends of Master Ralph "Snake" Smith. He left a lasting legacy, and will be greatly missed.
