Last night, my friends and I had the joy of attending one of New Hope’s biggest fundraising events of the year—the Black Tie Blue Jean Gala. It was such a wonderful evening filled with giving and connection! RT Lodge set the perfect atmosphere for a memorable night. We had a blast and felt great about supporting such an important cause!
My husband and I absolutely love giving back to our community and supporting nonprofits in any way we can—whether that’s volunteering our time or making financial contributions. At the beginning of the year, we decided to focus our efforts on one special nonprofit that really tugged at our hearts.
We chose the New Hope Children’s Advocacy Center, a fantastic organization that helps children and families in the Blount County area who need advocacy and support. We were truly impressed by the incredible work being done at this center! It was eye-opening to discover how many families and children are impacted by abuse and trauma, and how crucial this facility is for them. The center is thoughtfully designed to meet the emotional and physical needs of children, allowing them to share their stories just once—eliminating the need to revisit those painful memories repeatedly.
We all have a generous hearts to give back, and if you’re unsure where to direct that passion for giving, I highly recommend taking the time to tour their facility and discover more about their mission. I promise you’ll feel just as inspired as we did!
