📣CALLING ALL CMABQ CYCLISTS📣
We’re continuing to host a standing community meeting on the second Sunday of each month at 5:30 pm at Differential Brewing Differential Come share your thoughts, ideas, and dreams for how we as a collective can make ABQ Critical Mass more thrilling, inclusive, and dynamic for all cyclists! If you can’t make it in person, comment or dm what you have to contribute and it will be brought up during these meetings. Regardless if you’ve attended only one or over a hundred rides, your voice matters. ✨

☀️🍉July Critical Mass ABQ🚲🌻

Meet up at the UNM Duck Pond at 6:30 PM to roll out at 7 PM. We’ve got a longer ride planned this time: 8.8 miles. East on Central, north on Girard, east on Constitution, south on San Pedro, cruise west down Central, then cut over to the Heights Community Center on Yale. Swipe over to check the route; the link for the route on Bike Map is in our bio.

Huge shout out to our community for keeping us safe! We always welcome folks to help cork, rabbit, sweep, wrench, radio, plan, add whimsy, etc. (peep our pinned posts for more details). DM us if you have a part two ride planned for Friday so we can promote it! ✨

HAPPY PRIDE!🏳️‍🌈 LET’S RIDE! 🚲

Meet up Friday, June 26th at 6:30 pm at the UNM Duck Pond to roll out at 7 pm. Swipe to see the route; it’s also posted on bike map (link in our bio). A bit of a longer ride clocking in just over 5 and a half miles but we got this. This portion of the ride ends at the Heights Community Center parking lot. Folks are welcome to head out from here but also encouraged to host a part 2 of the ride. DM if you’ve got any plans; we’d love to support and promote whatcha got!

Come just as you are because you are wonderful, beautiful, and worthy, regardless if you are out, an ally, or still in the closet. We love you! The theme is Pride so dress up however you feel comfortable in all of the rainbows and let your freak flags fly. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🌈✨

🌹🖤May Critical Mass ABQ x Bike Prom🖤🌹

We’ve got a fun 4.5 mile route planned for Part 1 of CMABQ with the same start location (UNM Duck Pond) and start time (6:30 PM meet up to roll out at 7 PM) ending at the Heights Community Center. This ride is for everyone! We choose to ride as a group and keep us safely together.

Part 2 of the ride is optional but also welcome to everyone! is gonna lead us down the hill on Central through Downtown and Old Town. We still will keep us together.

At the end of Part 2, is hosting Bike Prom: Vive La Resistance! 🌹🖤 This event is 18+ and (like the rest of our rides) anti-fascist, anti-sexist, anti-racist, anti-elitist. Wear black and red formal wear (or what you feel comfortable biking in) with roses. Please consider financially supporting the venue, who kindly opened their space to us. Join for dancing (beats from DJ Cutty Missive) through 1 AM! 🪩🥀

📢Calling all CMABQ cyclists🚲 for our third Critical Mass ABQ Open Meeting on Sunday, March 15th from 5:30-7 pm at Differential Brewing (500 Yale SE)

Whether you’ve attended 1 or 100 CMs, your voice is needed! These Open Meetings provide an opportunity for all sorts of Albuquerque bicycle riders to gather, collaborate, and have input on how to collectively shape our monthly Critical Mass rides. Many cyclists come to our monthly rides, so as a group, we want to make sure many voices are heard and involved in the planning of future events and activities, and also share the responsibility of making Critical Mass ABQ a fun and safe event for all of us on bikes. Come through!

If you can’t make this in-person meeting, please share your thoughts in the comments of this post or send a DM before the meeting so it can be shared in person. Thanks!✨
