The 2026 USATF Gulf Association Championship will be held in conjunction with the 2026 Texas Youth State Championship, giving our athletes an incredible opportunity to compete against a larger and more competitive field.
This combined championship experience will provide athletes with valuable exposure to a competitive environment that more closely resembles the size, energy, and level of competition they may experience at the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships.
⭐ IMPORTANT USATF REQUIREMENTS
Although the championships are being conducted together, all USATF requirements remain in effect.
Athletes seeking advancement through the USATF Junior Olympic Championship pathway must:
• Have a verified 2026 USATF Membership
• Be properly registered for the 2026 USATF Gulf Association Championship
• Meet all applicable USATF eligibility and advancement requirements
🚨 PLEASE NOTE
Only athletes who are officially registered for the 2026 USATF Gulf Association Championship will be eligible to advance through the USATF Junior Olympic Championship pathway.
Participation in the 2026 Texas Youth State Championship alone does NOT qualify an athlete for USATF advancement.
