Our mission is to create a nurturing, and healing environment, where Yoga is for Everyone! High Desert Yoga opened the doors of its New Mexico yoga studio in 1995 with the goal of graciously welcoming everyone to the study and practice of yoga. We seek to make the healing benefits of yoga available to all ages and abilities from youngsters to elders, from novice to advanced practitioners, includin

g people with therapeutic needs. With this in mind, we offer beginning and advanced yoga classes along with an array of specialty classes, yoga workshops, yoga teacher trainings, retreats, and other community offerings. In addition, since the early 90's, we have been contributing to our growing community of dedicated yoga teachers and practitioners in our highly regarded 200 hour and 300 hour Yoga Alliance certified Yoga Teacher Training Program, led by master resident teacher Kim Schwartz and HDY founder, Zoreh Afsarzadeh.
