Don’t settle for average Physical Therapy. At RPI, we intentionally do things different to ensure better results.

➡️ 1-on-1 Care… You receive 100% of your therapist’s attention, 100% of the time. No sharing YOUR time.
➡️ Provider Consistency… Seeing the same therapist has been proven to produce better results. This allows your therapist to track progress and adjust accordingly.
➡️ Whole Body Approach… We don’t limit your care to your diagnosis, we get down to the root cause of your diagnosis.
➡️ Specialized Care… We invest in our team to provide specialized care in a lot of different areas.

After 43 responses (thank you!), here is a quick summary of the survey results:

1. Most of you heard about the event from someone who had previously participated. Very few saw it on Facebook.

2. Everyone seemed satisfied with the pre-event communication. Again, very few used Facebook for event information - maybe I don't even need this page?

3. About 25% felt we needed a timing clock and more portable toilets.

4. Only one person said they would not recommend the event to a friend or co-worker while 38 said they would.

5. 41 plan to be back, barring a scheduling conflict.

6. 25% wanted more trail through the woods and a few mentioned the trail could be little wider in places.

7. Most want a t-shirt and low registration fee. Only 3 said they wanted a finisher medal.

8. Start time of 8 am Saturday was by far the most popular.

9. 21 voted for October, 15 for July, and only 3 for June.

10. Most said they would be interested in a fall event if we decided to hold one.

I will try to make a decision on a date for next-year's race soon and get it on Ultrasignup. Thanks again to all who completed the survey!

None of the runners have claimed these items I found after the race. If they are yours, please let me know. The tent pole, tent stakes, and water bottle have been claimed, but not the sunglasses, watch, and small fan. Best way to contact me is by text at 618.302.0123

Thank you to all the runners who have completed the survey I sent. 32 responses out of 72 is good I think. If you haven't completed the survey yet, please do, but here is a quick summary of some of the results:

* A handful felt we need a timing clock and several felt more toilets were needed - those are noted.
* 20 of 32 aid they would definitely be back next year - Awesome! Bring friends.
* 9 runners indicated that more of the trail in the woods would be good, and a couple noted the trail could be a little narrow, especially near the start.
* Most people wanted a t-shirt, and a majority preferred a low registration fee over medals or other swag.
* Almost everyone is happy with the 8 am Saturday start time.
*October won out over July 16 to 10 with a few votes for early June.

There were several other useful comments or suggestions that I will be considering.

Thanks again for the responses and please go ahead and complete the survey if you have not alreay.

If you were a spectator, I would welcome you comments/suggestions as well. The spectators/crew are a very important part of the event and I would value your input.

Thanks to everyone!

Thank you to all the participants who have already completed the survey I sent out this morning - 26 surveys completed out of 72 runners. There has been some great feedback and some ideas that I will definitely try to implement next time!

If you were a spectator and have suggestions, let me have them. If you have an idea on what I can do better, let me have it, I promise you won't hurt my feelings.

Thank you Brooklyn Hoffeditz for getting this on TV for us. The spot aired this morning on CW 7 Evansville.

Lot's of thank you's are in order today:

Jenny Hortin thank you for lot's of things - logo and t-shirt design, all the social media posts throughout the day, decorating our photo backdrop, helping with the food, putting up with me (that one should probably be first), and helping to make the runners feel welcome.

Tommy Rich thank you for mowing, grilling, restocking water - Jenny and I couldn't have pulled this off without your help.

Brooklyn Hoffeditz thank you for making smoothies and serving the food. Ryan St Ledger helped too - and ran 13 miles!

Toby Beadles and Nutrien Ag Solutions, thank you for supplying the drinks.

Kyle Kelley and Tanea St Ledger from https://www.facebook.com/RPIedwardscountyRehabilitation
Rehabilitation and Performance Institute, for sponsoring the event and coming out to participate. Kyle ran 12 miles, as did Tanea's husband Eric St Ledger.

Chase Hortin, thank you for helping with registration, running errands for me, doing other things I needed help with, and for keeping me company through the overnight hours.

Tom and Rita Hortin, thank you for providing the venue. I received many kind words about the location and tried always to give you the credit. Your support and encouragement for this effort is also greatly appreciated.

AND to all the participants and spectators. We enjoyed meeting you all and are glad you chose to spend you Saturday with us. I hope you will all come back next time!
