📣 NASA SOCCER UPDATES! ⚽️💚💛

We have a few important updates for our NASA families!

🔥 1. As announced earlier today, Due to the heat indexes, practices will now begin NEXT WEEK.
We appreciate everyone’s understanding as we prioritize the safety and well-being of our players, coaches, and volunteers.

📝 2. REGISTRATION IS OPEN AGAIN!
Registration will remain open through Friday at NOON. If you still need to register your player, please be sure to get it completed before the deadline!

🙋‍♀️ 3. WE NEED A FEW MORE COACHES!
To help everything run as smoothly as possible and provide the best experience for our NASA kiddos, we are still looking for more coaches and/or more assistant coaches in the following age groups:

📍 Albion:
• U4
• U5
• U7
• U8
• U9

📍 Kendallville:
• U4
• U5
• U6
• U11

💚💛 We want to provide the best possible soccer experience for our NASA kiddos, but our program is strictly volunteer-run. Every coach, assistant coach, board member, and volunteer who gives their time is helping make this program possible for our kids.

It truly takes a community to make NASA Soccer happen — and we are so thankful for everyone who continues to step up and support our players! ⚽️💚💛

With the heat index advisory causing the need to cancel practices this week, we are opening registration again until Friday, 9/4 at noon.

Several of you have emailed and we were working with you to add your children to the team rosters and manually inputting registration.

You can now go to nasasoccer.info and complete your registration.

📢 NASA Practice Update
Due to the Heat Advisory and high heat index, all NASA practices will be cancelled this week to keep our athletes safe. ☀️🥵

Practices will resume next week:

📍 Albion: Tuesday, September 8
📍 Kendallville: Wednesday, September 9

Thank you for understanding, and please stay safe and hydrated! 💧🏊‍♀️

We look forward to seeing everyone at practice next week! 💙

Update:
Due to heat indexes- practices postponed to next week!

Practices start this week!

Albion teams on Tuesday from 6 to 7pm!
Kendallville teams on Wednesday from 6 to 7pm!

Please arrive at 545p for a quick meeting at the Pavilion. Players will follow their coaches out to the fields from the meeting!

If you don’t receive an email prior to practice, don’t worry- players will be grouped with their coaches at the meeting!

🏆 Introducing the Elks Soccer Shoot! 🏆

We are thrilled to announce that NASA will officially be hosting the Elks Soccer Shoot this year! ⚽️🎯

And the best part? IT’S 100% FREE! 🎉

This exciting soccer accuracy competition gives our youth players the opportunity to:
⚽️ Showcase their soccer skills
🎯 Test their accuracy
🏆 Compete right here at our hometown field
⭐️ Advance from the local competition to State and even National Championships!

This is a fantastic opportunity for our players to try something NEW, FUN, and FREE while representing NASA! 💚💛

More details about registration and the Soccer Shoot will be coming soon, so keep an eye out! 👀
(Players aged 7 through 14 years old).
