Well... It seems mother nature has brought our 2026 to an abrupt end.
6 inches of rain at the grounds yesterday. They are just not usable

A first for five years! I am sad.

ON A POSITIVE NOTE: The banquet will be FRIDAY NOVEMBER 6th at Tavern on the Ridge/Fairhaven and we will still have great prizes and a ton of fun!!! More details soon!!

One more GINORMOUS Thank You goes to the staff of the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Orleans County for their tireless efforts to turn the grounds from fairgrounds to show grounds in less than one week! You are appreciated and noticed!!

Good morning! Thank you all for another great show yesterday!! What a fantastic crew of riders, trainers and spectators!

Thank you to Sweet Release Equestrian Center IEA team for making it run so smoothly and for all of the great food too!

I was remiss after the last show to thank Jakkal Hill Stables IEA for their great help!

This series does not happen without the groups that take the opportunity to earn a little money and be a lot of help!

Thank you all for another fantastic show!! So many great rides, ribbons and fun....

Does it sound like a but is coming?

But... PLEASE be reminded, if you loaded your horse and it pooped on the grass, dirt or pavement....you are still responsible for cleaning it up before you drive away. We do not have paid staff for that. I do not want to raise class fees to hire someone, that's silly. Please be mindful, a stall is not stripped if you leave manure behind, wheel barrows must be dumped and "its gonna rain" is not a good reason for us to leave a mess for the next group renting the fairgrounds. Had fun today, but left a little disappointed.

I am sure August will be better ❤️🐴❤️
