In a doubleheader sweep of Clarke, the group combined for:

⚾ 12 Hits
⚾ 14 RBIs
⚾ 10 Runs Scored
⚾ 11 Innings Pitched
⚾ 13 Strikeouts
⚾ Only 3 Hits Allowed
⚾ Just 1 Earned Run Allowed

Highlights included:
🔹 Drake Irwin: 8-for-9, 6 runs scored, 3 RBIs
🔹 Connor McFall: 2 hits, 1 RBI, 2 stolen bases, and 4 strikeouts on the mound
🔹 Carson Sohn: 6.2 innings pitched, 6 strikeouts, 1 RBI
🔹 Jaxson Strickler: Complete-game shutout, allowing just 1 hit while striking out 7

It’s been fun watching these four grow together over the last four years. Today was a reminder of what can happen when talent, hard work, and years of playing side-by-side come together. Proud of this group and the way they continue to represent Albia Baseball & Mettle!!! 💙⚾️

It's the last week of regular season play for all our baseball teams as well as our Minor League softball teams.

Baseball will continue with the city tournament and our Instructional girls are taking over Washington Park 3 nights a week!
