Female Fighters Matter Too is a campaign focused on creating opportunities and bringing equality to Female athletes around the World

Female Fighters Matter Too (FFM2) is our latest campaign. World competitions world rarely award female competitors equivalent prizes that male divisions receive for winning grand champion titles. To spark a change, I began personally sponsoring several national and international events to double the cash prizes for women over their male division counterparts for winning grand champion titles. le Fighter Matter Too (FFM2) is a movement that aims to raise the standards that martial arts tournaments set for women competitor s worldwide, and to level the playing field for both men and women by creating equal opportunities for both within the martial arts arena. After I doubled the cash prizes offered for female martial artists at the National Martial Arts World tryouts in Detroit, Michigan, 2018, another sponsor stepped forward to raise cash prizes for male martial artists as well. I was overjoyed that the FFM2 campaign had sparked a change for the entire tournament. Change only happens where people make it happen, not wish it to happen or complain about it. It takes generations to change. If I drop the ball then we lose ground and all that we have fought for will be lost.”

We’re excited to announce that FFM2 will be sponsoring the Pan American Internationals Power Zone Breaking on May 15th in Miami, Florida! 💥🥋

This exciting event is an ISKA qualifier, where winners earn the opportunity to compete at the U.S. Open ISKA Worlds on ESPN 🔥

We’re especially proud to support an event that continues to push for equality in the sport. Since last year, Power Zone Breaking has remained the only event to offer equal prize money for both men and women, and one of the first to award prize money to breakers at all. 👏💪

We’re excited to be sponsoring Amanda Duarte from Team Revolution (Union, NJ) at this year’s Quebec Open! 🥋🔥

Amanda trains in Shotokan Karate, CMX Forms & Weapons, and Traditional Weapons at Steven Karate Academy and Monmouth Karate. With 8 years of training, she’s already built an incredible resume, including winning at least one overall at every NASKA 6A tournament 👏🏆

She got her start through a buddy day (and a little encouragement from her dad to learn self-defense), and hasn’t looked back since. Amanda’s goal is to inspire the next generation of female athletes and leave her mark as one of the best to ever do it 💪✨

Martial arts has helped her stay focused, build discipline and respect, and create lifelong friendships along the way. She also credits Haley Glass as a key mentor in her journey 🙌

When she’s not competing, Amanda loves spending time with her friends and enjoying life outside the gym.
