Last one, best one! So happy for our 5/6th grade team who ended their season on a high note yesterday with a 3-0 run and their first tournament championship win! These girls were seen as underdogs for most of the season, battling tough competition and often times coming up just short of the win. What they lacked in size and experience, they made up for in heart and determination. We are so proud of how much they have grown both individually and as a team, and know they couldn’t have done so without the unwavering support of their coaches and families. Congratulations ladies!! 💜🏆🥇

Team camp may be over but there’s still a little Storm in NC State! Savannah, Ava, Maddie, Addy & Cora from our 5/6th grade team will be sharpening their skills over the next few days at the Wolfpack Womens Individual Camp! We are so proud of them for putting in the extra work and taking advantage of this amazing experience! We know they will represent Stanly County well 💪🏼💜🐺

7-0! What a great performance by our 7/8th grade team at NC State Team Camp. They went 6-0 in the middle school division and ended with a 30-16 win over a JV team, bringing their overall season record to 18-3! The bond these girls have is so special and the way they work together is so fun to watch. They’ve come such a long way since we started this- due in large part to great coaching, but fueled by their own hard work and perseverance. We couldn’t be prouder! 💪🏼💜

Wishing our 7/8th grade team safe travels today as they head to NC State for the Wolfpack Women’s Team Camp! They will play a total of 7 games over the next 3 days versus other middle school teams from all over the state. They’ll also be staying in the dorms, eating in the dining hall and having the full overnight camp experience! The perfect way to end this travel ball season 💜🐺🏀

What a weekend! We brought the Storm to Myrtle Beach and they made quite an impact! ⛈️🌊

This was our 5th/6th grade girls’ first time at the beach tournament and we are so proud of how they played! They faced some really tough competition and completed the weekend with a 1-2 record. Their win was a sight to see as they battled through a nail biter double OT to come out on top 22-20! We have absolutely loved watching their growth this season and are looking forward to their last few tournaments ⛹🏻‍♀️

Our 7th/8th grade team started Saturday 1-1 with a hard fought win and a close loss. They came back with a chip on their shoulder Sunday and went 3-0 for the day to win the 8th grade girls championship… for the second year in a row!! 🏆🥇 We are so proud of our small town Stanly County team showing up and showing out! They played hard, tough and together all weekend and couldn’t have done it without the knowledge instilled in them by our amazing coaches. We can’t thank them enough for the time and care they invest in these girls 💜

We did still manage to find time in between all the basketball to chill out, have fun, and make lots of memories with family and friends! I don’t think the girls will ever forget their experience at The Hangout, nor will us parents 😂🕺🏻
