PLAYER SPOTLIGHT! The Cats are 10 games and have a few players who have broken records and are putting up huge stats. Many more records to be broken this year.

Pitcher spotlight- Josh Kapp. Kapp is from Houston, TX and attends Bluefield State University. So far this year he has thrown 14 and 1/3 innings and has a sub one ERA. He has been both a starting pitcher and relief arm for the Cats so far. Great job Kapp!

Position player spotlight- Blake McKinney. Blake comes from Waxhaw, NC and like Kapp, attends Bluefield State University. He was also on the 2025 Wampus Cats team where he ended the season hitting over .300. So far through the 10 games, Blake is hitting .478 and even broke the Cats record of consecutive at bats with a hit which now stands at 8. Blake is on pace to break several records this year. Way to go Blake!
