Spring 2026 at Detroit with Next Level is complete & time to post a few pictures. I’m beyond lost for words to describe this spring fishing but definitely some amazing times had. The weather was very typical for this time of year summer, winter back to summer. The water conditions were the absolute worst I’ve ever experienced. It made it challenging to navigate the debris & be able to fish the desired locations. I spent way more fishing time this year to get my customers fish. Things were very challenging at times but most days I was able to win the battle. The quality of Kokanee is outstanding & the summer season is looking very promising. I tried a ton of different tackle & the clear winner is Poulsen Cascade Spinners!! Silver & hot pink… when the bite was slow this combo produced. The theme for the spring was RIGHT PLACE, RIGHT TIME & using the RIGHT THING. To my amazing customers THANK YOU for the continued support. Next up??? Yep, Wallowa Lake time!!! 🎣🎣

Monday March Madness KOKANEE TIME at Detroit… I have a few available dates in April that need to be filled. Things are looking much more stable for some excellent spring Kokanee fishing. The fish are in excellent shape & good size. Practice fishing today went very well with quick limits. Next Level guided Kokanee trips are turn key adventures that all can enjoy. Wallowa Lake Kokanee… OPEN available dates for a world class Kokanee fishing experience with Next Level. It was decided to extend our Wallowa Lake Kokanee fishing dates to add JUNE 10 & 11. These are the only available dates for 2026. The forecast at Wallowa Lake is looking very promising so don’t miss out on this opportunity. Detroit Lake Kokanee booking for spring & summer with Next Level. I have a few available dates in April & July. We are anticipating another spectacular Kokanee year at Detroit. This fishery offers a 10 fish limit with quality sized Kokes. Next Level offers a lifetime of fishing experience chasing Oregon Kokes. Trips are very family friendly & educational on how to catch more Kokes.

Thank You!! What a great Willamette Sportsman Show this past weekend. It was great seeing & talking with current customers and new customers.
