ALBANY PILATES CENTER COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
WELCOME BACK! We've truly missed you!
It's hard to believe that our doors have been closed for over 5 months now! In order to keep them open, maintain a safe environment, and keep us all healthy, together we must all do our part by following these best practices as mandated by the NYS DOH and CDC.
Thank-you and now let's finally get back to Pilates!
BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
All classes are by appointment.
We are offering Private, Duet and Trio classes only in order to maintain safe distancing. Class duration is 55 minutes.
Mat classes are suspended until further notice.
Only clients with a scheduled class will be permitted in the studio. No guests.
To schedule, CALL 518.435.1156 or TEXT 518.461.4754.
Please call or text 24 hours before your scheduled class to confirm.
MANDATORY HEALTH SCREENING ASSESSMENT
All clients and teachers are asked to complete a form confirming they have not traveled to states with significant COVID-19 spread as listed per the NYS Department of HealthTravel Advisory or knowingly been in proximity to anyone with or exposed to the virus in the past 14 days.
Clients and teachers will alert APC Owner immediately if they show symptoms or test positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of their last class. All potentially exposed clients will be notified immediately if there is a confirmed case.
UPON ARRIVAL
Please wait in your vehicle if you're early. There will be 15 minutes between classes to ensure the studio and all apparatus are thoroughly disinfected.
5 minutes before your scheduled class, enter the building by the front door.
At the top of the stairs, after completing the form on the table and using the supplied hand sanitizer, knock on the door.
If you're in a Duet or Trio please maintain safe distancing in the hallway.
Touchless temperature checks will be taken. Anyone with a body temperature greater than 100.4 degrees will not be permitted entry.
Remove shoes upon entering.
Masks are mandatory at all times. Gloves may be worn at the client's discretion. Please bring your own masks, gloves, personal-use towels, and water.
IN THE STUDIO
Please have your payment ready as you enter.
All clients and teachers will maintain 6-foot physical distancing at all times. Apparatus has been spaced accordingly.
Unfortunately, that means only verbal cueing...no tactile cueing or adjustment or facilitated stretching.
Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the studio. Please use it frequently.
The studio has many windows that can be opened for increased ventilation as recommended by the CDC as well as MERV-13 rated HVAC filters.
Only one person allowed in restrooms at any given time. Wash hands thoroughly before exiting.
AFTER CLASS
Sanitize hands before leaving. Exit through the back door of the studio only.
