Today, our dedicated and talented staff will be aerating and topdressing the course greens. While this is a routine maintenance activity, it does require alternative measures for course play.

To ensure the safety of members, guests, and staff, we kindly ask that you use the designated cart paths in areas where staff members are actively working. This will assist in maintaining a secure environment, allowing staff to perform tasks efficiently and effectively. Your cooperation in adhering to this safety guideline is greatly appreciated.

Experience the ultimate golfing adventure with the fun and fantastic staff of the Flint River Municipal Golf Course during Hook a Kid on Golf! This five-day camp is designed to empower youth participants by immersing them in the world of golf through educational workshops, group lessons, and individual instruction.⛳

Camp Dates: July 17-21, 2023
Camp Hours: 9 a.m. to Noon
Note: Camp will conclude at 1 p.m. on the 4th and 5th day.

AGE REQUIREMENT
Campers must be 6-11 years of age as of July 17, 2023.

ANNOUNCEMENT: COURSE HOURS & TEE TIMES
On Tuesday, July 4, 2023, the Flint River Municipal Golf Course will open bright and early at 7:30 a.m. for fun on the green! In observance of Independence Day, the course and all amenities will close at 1 p.m.

Tee times for 18-hole rounds will be available until 9 a.m. Tee times for 9-hole rounds will be available until 10 a.m. Please plan accordingly and secure your preferred tee time to guarantee your spot.

Mark your calendars and join the for an unforgettable evening on the green as we host the highly anticipated 2023 Women's Golf Day event on Wednesday, July 26, 2023! This annual event is designed to celebrate and empower young ladies and women playing golf, learning the rules of the game, and enhancing their skills on the course! Will we see you there?

• Participants may bring their own clubs.

REGISTRATION NOTES
The 2023 Women's Golf Day event has been curated to accommodate 25 participants. Registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

ANNOUNCEMENT: COURSE PLAY CONDITIONS ⛳

As you plan to visit the course in the coming days, we want to inform you of some important updates regarding course play conditions.

Today, Friday, June 16, 2023, all course play is walking only. On Saturday, June 17, 2023, course play will be cart path-only. If conditions are not fair for cart path use on Saturday, course play will revert to walking only. Weather conditions for Sunday, June 18, 2023, are currently being assessed and will be announced as soon as possible.
