Last day of Early Bird registration for the 2025 AlbanyTri is 7/31. If you haven't yet signed up, now's your chance to score some savings and secure your place at the starting line! We sold out last year and could sell out again given the limitations of our race venue.

You can also sign up to volunteer if you can't race this year and are available on 9/21 — we can always use more volunteers! Thanks! 🙌🏼

Here's a great opportunity to prep for the AlbanyTri: The Albany Move’n’Groove 5K run/walk and 0.5 mile kids race which takes place this SUNDAY (4/27) on the same route that you bike on for the triathlon, only here you're running 6 laps instead of cycling 12. Check out the details below for how to sign up (online registration ends tonight, 4/23).

And save the date for the AlbanyTri taking place on 9/21/25 — registration will be open soon, stay tuned for news!

The Albany Move'n'Groove 2025 is on Sunday April 27, 2025. It includes the following events: 5K Run or Walk, 5K Stroller, 5K Para Athlete, and Half-Mile Kids Race (10 & under).

Congrats to all who came out to compete at the 2024 AlbanyTri this past Sunday! 👏🏼 Also thanks to the many volunteers & organizers who helped the event run smoothly. The weather was excellent for the first day of fall, which officially occurred at 5:43 AM Pacific time race day morning. 🍁

Race results and photos/videos are available on the "Results" page of our website: https://albanytri.com/results/ — These results are still preliminary and incomplete, so stay tuned as we update them throughout the week.

And for those athletes who didn't signup before we sold out for the first time in our event's history, we missed seeing you there and hope to see you next year!

View your heat assignment (heat number and start time) for starting the swim portion of the race, in heats of 20 swimmers. Use the tabs at the bottom of the page (desktop) or top of the page (mobile) to view the assignments sorted by heat number or athlete name/team name. Relay team members are listed in a separate tab.

Heat number starts with MC = main course, or SC = short course. Chip # corresponds to the timing chip that you will receive in your race packet — to be picked up Sat 9/21 between 1–4pm at Road Runners Sports in Berkeley (1326 10th St.)
