Unfortunately, this weekend didn’t end the way we had hoped. We came up short in the second round, but there are always positives to take away from every race!

This was our first race out with the new car, and we learned SO much throughout the weekend. We’re starting to get in a groove and figure out what this new car wants, and we couldn’t be more excited about the progress we’re making!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who continues to support us and plays a part in this team. We truly couldn’t do it without you!

Now we’ll take a few weeks off, regroup, and get ready for the next one. We’ll be back and ready to go!

We’ve been pretty quiet the last couple of weeks, but there’s been A LOT going on behind the scenes here at Finke Racing.

Unfortunately, a few weeks ago, our car was involved in an on-track accident with another driver in the car. Thankfully, everyone was safe and no one was seriously hurt—but the same couldn’t be said for the car.

If you know anything about Finke Racing, you know we have a never-say-die attitude. From the moment the accident happened, it was all hands on deck.

Evan and Al were at the shop working nonstop to get a spare car ready and keep parts moving. Jeremy drove all the way from Oregon to New York to get the damaged car back so we could salvage whatever parts we could. Meanwhile, John and Jackie were working behind the scenes to put together a plan to get us back on track.

The plan was to buy a car in California and have it shipped home—but, of course, nothing is ever that easy. When shipping fell through, a U-Haul was rented, a trailer was bought, and within a day, Evan was on the road driving the car all the way home.

Over the last three weeks, the entire Finke Racing crew—guys and girls—have absolutely busted their butts to put this car back together and get us ready to race at New England Dragway this weekend.
Needless to say, our never-say-die attitude has been on full display these last few weeks, and we couldn’t be more excited to get back out there!

And what better weekend to make our comeback than during Jackie’s birthday week! 🎉🏁

A huge THANK YOU to every single person who played a part in getting us back on the track. Whether you turned a wrench, hauled a trailer, found a part, made a phone call to offer us a car, or helped behind the scenes—none of this would have been possible without you.

We’re incredibly grateful for our entire team and everyone who continues to believe in Finke Racing.
