Why does this matter?

Because the old name centered the condition around ovarian cysts, even though many women with PCOS never had cysts at all. The condition has always involved much more than reproductive health alone.

The updated name better reflects the endocrine and metabolic components involved, including:
• insulin resistance
• hormonal dysfunction
• cardiovascular risk
• appetite and energy regulation
• mental and emotional health
• reproductive health

For many women, this is validation.
For all women, this is progress toward more complete understanding, better conversations, and more comprehensive healthcare.

Take care of yourself with the same energy you give everyone around you

Yesterday was Mother’s Day
Today is National Women’s Check-Up Day

Strength is more than pushing through
It’s taking ownership of your health before something forces you to

Because the strongest thing you can do is stay here, healthy, and able to keep showing up for the people you love

Schedule the appointment
Ask the questions
Take your health seriously

Training matters
Nutrition matters
Recovery matters
But so does prevention
