Training, Lessons, trail rides, Boarding and just about anything you could dream up!! We would love to bring horses into your life! There is a wide variety of high vis gear available on the market for horses and riders in high traffic areas or low visibility. The important part is remembering to actually use it (although maybe not all at once as seen here), no safety equipment does its job from in the tack room!

Pepper is such a pretty girl especially when she’s all dressed up! These hot days are difficult to get much work done under saddle safely but they are a fantastic opportunity to practice turnout skills for events in cooler temperatures! Mane/tail braiding, tack cleaning, ways to make your horse shine like the stars they are and spend some quality time with our ponies.

These summer days are blisteringly hot, but lucky for us here at Ride and Roam we have access to both an arena with lights if we want to ride super early or late AND trails so we can ride in the shade. Safety Sammy here with your Safety reminder of the week!

Even when it’s hot outside remember to wear your Personal Protective Equipment or PPE for short. It’s up to each horse and rider pair to determine what that entails for them, some horses need hoof boots to be safest, and some riders need to wear gloves to be safest, ask your coach or mentor to help you figure out the PPE setup that will best protect you both and then use it! Rain or shine, hot or cold it doesn’t do a lick of good sitting in the tack room.
