FitLife Integrated Training I am a very eager and passionate Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach. Being in the gym and exercising is a well loved hobby of mine.

My certifications are through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (a highly accredited company). My passion for fitness and living a healthy lifestyle began in 2020 when I had a skiing accident that ended in me tearing my ACL and meniscus. After ACL reconstruction, the year of rehab I had to endure completely changed my outlook toward fitness; it ignited a fire inside me. I refer to the gym as

my happy place. I take an integrated approach to training. This means all aspects of fitness (flexibility, balance, core, plyometrics, agility, resistance, and cardio) are programmed into the individualized programs that I create. I assess each client to determine overactive and under active muscles and program workouts with the information obtained from those assessments. If you are wanting to make exercise part of your life, lose weight, feel better, perform better, develop strength, etc. I will help you get there! We chatted about dietary habits, goals, techniques to have a higher energy output through the day, healthy snack options, exercise, macros, etc.

This was the best moment. I was doing a set and found my little man doing this during my rest period.

It’s been amazing being able to spend the week with him! We have had so much fun. I pray he develops a positive attitude toward fitness and will be excited to take care of his body!

I know so many people deal with low back pain. I have been struggling the last week or so to get my low back pain to let up. I’ve tried numerous stretches and release techniques but nothing has hit the nail on the head.

Did you know many cases of low back pain are due to tight hamstrings and/or hip flexors? I work my hamstrings super hard during the week and they have become extremely tight lately. I have tried many stretches but this recipe today was the golden nugget. My low back pain is gone. My hamstrings have finally calmed down and allowed my low back to “release”.

I’m sharing this because I know low back pain is very prevalent. I follow Alexa and have found many of her things to be super helpful! If you are struggling with low back pain you should drop down on the floor and do these immediately!

Ohhh this is going to be good!

Finished my nutrition certification so now I’m on to the next thing! I LOVE to learn. And…I want to be the BEST coach I can be for my clients.

Did you know movement is a science? There is so much that goes into the movement of the body and so much that should be done to be sure movement is happening/occurring correctly.

So, here we go again! Just starting to dig in and already doing the head nods. Can’t wait to power through this material and begin applying it with my clients!

I did it! I passed my exam!

Knocked out part 2 of my endeavor! Took longer to get this done than what I wanted but running a business and taking care of clients is first priority! I can finally say I am now a certified nutrition coach! So awesome adding this to my existing personal training credentials. I learned so much in this course and feel fully equipped to really problem solve with people to figure out the best course of action to lose weight, build muscle, maintain weight, etc!

This certification will be used with my current client load but I’ll also be accepting clients seeking nutrition advice and trying to figure out a good balance of energy in/energy out, macro distribution, food choices, etc!

Working on an awesome week of programs for my clients!

A challenge for you:

Schedule out your week and put exercise at the top of your priority list, once you check your workouts off, you can then go through the rest of your to-do list for any given day. Doing this makes taking care of yourself the priority. Those dishes in the sink and the laundry that needs folded can wait! Also, try starting your day with a workout, rather than hitting snooze several times; roll out of bed and get some movement in. You will have more energy through the day and feel so good!
