Today we honor and remember Phil Connolly, a true pillar of the Bay Area lacrosse community and a founding member of Scorpions Lacrosse.

For more than 30 years, Phil dedicated his time, leadership, and heart to growing the game of lacrosse in the Bay Area, including serving on the Oakland Lacrosse board. His passion for the sport and for helping young athletes will leave a lasting impact on generations of players, families, and coaches.

Phil was the definition of a gentleman — kind, supportive, humble, and always excited to see lacrosse continue to grow in our community. His encouragement and belief in the Scorpions program meant so much to all of us.

His legacy will live on every time our players step on the field.

Thank you, Phil, for everything you did for lacrosse and for our community. You will never be forgotten. 🥍🧡
