Meet Ken Tran, the guy on our first slide.

Ken is the founder and owner of Titan Pickleball. He’s also a cofounder of all four HUB locations, including The HUB JAX, which surprises a lot of people around there.

He lives in California and rarely makes it to Florida. But when Mimi Tran of Pham Insurance Agency put together a Vietnamese community tournament at The HUB, he got on a plane. Titan and The HUB are both Vietnamese owned, and showing up for this community in person mattered to him.
So he played. A lot, as you’ll see.

More than 80 players came out on October 17 to compete for medals, cash, and raffle prizes, with plenty of Vietnamese food to keep everyone going between matches. Thank you to everyone who made it such a good day. Thank you Open Play Sports for running a solid event.

They’re already narrowing down a date for the next one.
