PlayHurling.com is an online store that provides hurling equipment across North America. One-stop shop for hurling equipment! What is hurling?

Connecting the North American Hurling & Camogie community. 3000 year old Irish sport & the fastest game on grass. We are also an online community that teaches the basics of hurling and provides updates on what's happening in the North American hurling scene. Hurling is a fast-paced Irish stick sport played on a field. It is played using a wooden or composite stick, called a hurl or a hurley, and a

leather ball that is similar to a baseball, called a sliotar. Hurling is Ireland's National sport. It's 3000 years old and is the fastest field sport in the world, with the ball hit at speeds up to 112mph. There are thousands of hurling clubs throughout Ireland. And in the US and Canada, there are more than 170 hurling clubs. Hurling is played between two teams, with 15 players either side, in two 35 minute halves. The objective of the game is to progress the ball up the field to score one of two ways through an H-shaped goal post: in the net for 1 goal (worth 3 points) or through the upright posts for 1 point.
