The real reason we play this weekend- to raise awareness and to directly support one of our community members.

October is breast cancer awareness month and we are proud to take the pitch this Saturday, 10/10, to tackle cancer. All proceeds that we earn will go directly to an individual in our community actively in the fight.

Early detection is crucial. Throughout the rest of the week, keep an eye on our social media for breast cancer facts & details leading up to our last home game.

Check out the link in our bio to sponsor a player for Saturday’s game. Flat rate and price per tackle options available to support our team and this cause. We kick off Saturday at 11:00 against Pittsburgh Forge D2 here in Akron at home for our last home match of the season.

It’s that time of year. Our annual breast cancer tackle-a-thon is just around the corner! Every fall, during breast cancer awareness month, we honor the fight and leave it all out on the pitch for someone within the community actively fighting. Sponsor a player per tackle or pledge a flat rate.

Our game at home on 10/10 is against Pittsburgh Forge and will be a game you don’t want to miss!

Unfortunately, due to roster numbers for this weekend, we made the hard decision to forfeit our game against Cleveland Iron Maidens Rugby

We are disappointed we will not have the opportunity to play this Saturday but will be back and ready to hit the pitch on 10/3 as we head to Toledo.

We will be looking forward to seeing our friends in Cleveland in a few weeks- 4 games left! Still lots of action to be had.
