It was a pleasure teaching Yoga & Meditation at the Central Park in Green today. 🌳🌞☁️

β€˜LifeStyles is a medically based fitness and wellness program operated through the Cleveland Clinic Akron-General system and includes extensive group exercise offerings, aquatics, wellness services, exercise specialists, and access to multiple locations.’

Lifestyles doesn’t encourage or allow photography in the gym. Also I’ve noticed my students across the board don’t really seem to use or engage that much with social media so I’ve taken a break from posting. It’s amusing to me when people think I’m not in the gym because I don’t post on social media every detail of my life. I’m not merely a fitness influencer; I’ve been teaching yoga and fitness for 13 years! I’m usually teaching multiple classes a day at different gyms or locations, 6 days a week! If I’m not at the gym, I enjoy going for walks this time of year or swimming in the pool. Walking helps me to lower stress, stimulate digestion, and get sunlight for better sleep. With a busy physical schedule I prioritize resting, relaxation, and solitude so as not to overtrain or burnout from teaching anywhere from 14-17 classes a week. πŸŒŠπŸ§˜πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

I’m in the gym 6 days a week teaching classes or working out. Been teaching yoga and fitness classes for the past 13 years. I teach a power hatha yoga style and meditation, aqua bootcamp, healing waters, and silver sneakers classes.

Floating Lotus pose / Scale pose πŸͺ·πŸ§˜πŸ»β€β™€οΈβš–️
Utthita Padmasana / Tolasana

Floating Lotus is an intermediate to advanced arm-balancing posture where the body is suspended above the floor in a Lotus pose while resting only on the hands. It strengthens the shoulders, arms, and core while requiring deep hip opening. Part of the Ashtanga primary series.

I like practicing this challenging pose to see how long I can stay elevated and suspended off the floor while breathing. It feels creative, boosts confidence, and builds strength.
