Fairlawn Hawks Baseball Club

Fairlawn Hawks Baseball Club We are a 18U travel baseball team/organization based out of Fairlawn Ohio near Akron.

The purpose of the Fairlawn Hawks Baseball Club is to help promote and maintain high moral character as well as good mental and physical health in the young people involved in the baseball program. We strive to provide a higher level of competition for talented and motivated baseball players who are willing to commit a great deal of time to the improvement of their skills in a team focused environ

ment. The team will work hard to win games, but winning will never become more important than teamwork and good sportsmanship. Fairlawn Hawks Baseball Club will ask players to work toward excellence, not perfection. Baseball is a fun and challenging game that requires players to develop the ability to overcome mistakes and to look forward to their next opportunity. Ultimately, the development of skills and team focused play will be the guideline for our program, which we believe will create better baseball players and better people.

We offer a team that is competitive in both league and tournaments for an affordable price. We play a full SSBL schedule, attend 5-6 tournaments (one out of state and the rest local), have facility access at LineDrive Baseball in Akron, and give lots of team gear all for an affordable price.

We will try to keep our position player roster size lower in order to give players the most opportunity for playing time.

A tough loss in extra innings ends our first tournament. It was an amazing pitching effort by both Noah Liming and Nate McGuire which held down a team that was averaging 13 runs a game. We battled to the end and were proud of how we did! Now on to SSBL play!
