✨ WE CAN FINALLY SHARE THEM! ✨

We are absolutely OVER THE MOON excited to finally give you a first look at the TWO newest products joining the CAS Equestrian family! 🥹🐴🤎

Meet…

🤎 CAS LIBERTY
🖤 CAS OUTRIDER

We’ve been working, testing, tweaking, riding, and keeping these beauties under wraps for what feels like FOREVER — and now we can finally start showing you what we’ve been up to. 😍

Two completely different designs.
Two new ways to enjoy that close, connected feeling with your horse.
And both created with the comfort, security and quality you expect from CAS Equestrian.

This is just the first little sneak peek. 👀🔥

We’ll be sharing MUCH more about Liberty and Outrider over the next few days — including all the details, differences, colors and what makes each one special.

But for now…

Welcome to the family, CAS Liberty & CAS Outrider! 🥂🐴

Which one are you immediately drawn to — Liberty or Outrider? 👇😍

😂 HOW MANY TEST MILES ARE ENOUGH TEST MILES?! 😂🐴

Apparently, we haven’t found the answer yet.

Day in. Day out.
Day in. Day out.
DAY. IN. DAY. OUT. 😂

Up the hills. Down the hills. Through the woods. Over bridges. Through creeks. Climbing anything remotely resembling a mountain. At this point, if we find a cliff, we may test it there too. 🤣

All in the name of “product testing,” obviously. Very serious business. Very scientific. 🧐😂

The problem?

WE CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF IT.

Our newest addition to the CAS Equestrian family has been getting mile after mile after mile put on it, and every ride makes us love it a little more. ❤️

We are SO ridiculously excited to finally share this one with you — and we are hoping that VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY soon we can stop teasing you and actually show you what we’ve been riding in. 👀🔥

And just saying…

🎄 If you’re already wondering what should be on your Christmas list this year…

You might want to leave a little space. 😏🎁🐴

Coming soon.
Hopefully.
Because apparently we need to ride another 847 miles first. 🤣🤣🤣

🚗🐴 **CAS Equestrian is Heading North This October!** 🍂

We’ll be hitting the road **mid-October**, traveling from **Aiken, South Carolina all the way to West Harrison, Indiana** — and we’re happy to offer **saddle fittings and saddle trials along the way!**

If you’re located anywhere along (or reasonably close to 😉) our route and have been wanting to:

✨ Schedule a professional saddle fitting
✨ Try one of our saddles on your own horse
✨ Explore different models and fitting options
✨ Find a saddle that truly works for both horse AND rider

…this might be the perfect opportunity!

And on our way back south, we’re considering making a **loop through West Virginia**, depending on interest.

📍 **Aiken, SC → West Harrison, IN**
📅 **Mid-October**
🐴 Fittings & trials available along the route
📍 **Possible West Virginia loop on the return trip**

If you’re interested, **shoot me a message with your location** and what you’re looking for. We’ll start mapping our stops based on interest and see how many of you we can visit along the way! ❤️

✨ **ONLY TWO LEFT FROM LAST WEEK’S SALE!** ✨

We have just **ONE Brown and ONE Cognac** remaining from our **B-grade Ba****ck Pad Sale — only $315 instead of $469!** 🤎

And when we say B-grade, there is **absolutely nothing technically wrong with these pads.** No defects, no functional issues, and the same beautiful design and comfort.

The only reason they didn't pass our usual first-quality standards is that the **suede leather has a slightly rougher/fuzzier surface and isn't as clean and flat-cut as we typically prefer.** That's it!

So if a tiny cosmetic imperfection doesn't bother you, this is the **perfect opportunity to save $154** on one of our Luxury Suede Ba****ck Pads. 🙌

🤎 **1 Brown available**
🤎 **1 Cognac available**
💰 **$315 each — regularly $469**

Once these two are gone, **they're gone!**

Available through **Messenger or text only: 707-346-1843**. Please include your color choice, mailing address, and email address in your message. 🐴✨

🐴 Your saddle can “fit” — and still not work.

One of the biggest misconceptions about saddle fitting is that we're simply looking for a saddle that doesn't pinch.

But **saddle fit is not just about avoiding pressure.**

A saddle should allow the horse to **move.**

Can the back lift?
Can the shoulders move freely?
Can the horse step underneath itself?
Can the ribcage move and expand?
Can the rider sit balanced without constantly fighting for position?

Because here's the interesting part:

A horse can stand beautifully in the cross ties with a saddle that appears to fit perfectly…

…and then tell us a completely different story once they start moving.

That's why I don't believe saddle fitting ends with putting a saddle on a stationary horse and checking a few pressure points.

**The horse gets a vote.**

I want to see them walk. Trot. Canter. Turn. Transition. I want to see what happens to the back underneath the rider and how the horse responds when we make adjustments.

Sometimes the difference is subtle.

And sometimes you change one small thing and suddenly the horse takes a deeper breath, starts swinging through the back and moves completely differently.

**That's the part of saddle fitting I never get tired of. ❤️**

A saddle isn't supposed to *hold a horse together.*

It should give the horse enough comfort and freedom to **use its body correctly.**

# # # 🐴 COME WITH ME TO WORK — Another Rehab Story ❤️‍🩹

This cute Arabian gelding has quite the story.

After struggling with **ligament issues**, his owner was told by a veterinarian in Florida that he might **not be rideable again.**

Rather than giving up, she sent him to Aiken to stay with her mom, where he could rehab in **large fields with plenty of natural movement**—something that was much harder to provide at his boarding facility in Florida.

Fast-forward a few months...

**He has now been cleared by his veterinarian to slowly return to work! 🎉**

So what do you put on a horse whose body is still transitioning back into ridden work?

For him, we chose the **Cloud. ☁️**

The Cloud is our hybrid between a traditional saddle and a ba****ck pad. Because there's **no rigid tree**, it offers tremendous flexibility as the horse's body changes, while still giving the rider a secure and comfortable place to sit.

And let's not forget one very important feature:

**IT IS SO. MUCH. FUN. TO. RIDE. 😂☁️🐎**

For horses returning to work, we love having options that can accommodate a body that may continue changing as strength and fitness return.

We'll be following this handsome guy's journey too, and hopefully we'll get to watch him become stronger and stronger. ❤️

And if his Cloud has you curious...

☁️ **Clouds are currently in stock in all sizes and colors**
☀️ **40% OFF during our Summer Sale**
🏷️ Use code **SUMMER40** at checkout

Maybe it's time to see what all the Cloud fuss is about. 😉

**You might just have WAY too much fun.** 🐎💨☁️

*Always follow your veterinarian's recommendations when returning a horse to work following an injury.*

🐴 COME WITH ME TO WORK — Saddle Fitting a Former Broodmare

Today’s case is a **12-year-old former broodmare** who has been back in work for approximately six months.

Former broodmares can present an interesting saddle-fitting challenge. After pregnancies and time away from regular work, the **core and back musculature may be significantly weaker**, often resulting in what riders describe as a poor or underdeveloped topline.

Our goal here isn't simply to find a saddle that *fits her today.*
We want her comfortable enough under saddle that she can **step underneath herself, engage the hindquarters, lift and use her back, and allow the movement to travel from back to front** — giving those muscles the opportunity to become stronger again.
And this is where we sometimes run into a bit of a chicken-and-egg situation. 🐔🥚

I often hear:
**“I want to build my horse’s back first, and then I'll have the saddle fitted.”**
In theory, that sounds reasonable. In practice, it doesn't always work.

If the horse isn't comfortable enough under the existing saddle to use her body correctly, we may actually be making it **harder for her to develop the muscles we're trying to build.**
For horses whose bodies are expected to change, I prefer a saddle that can be **fitted now, with room for development, and adjusted as the horse changes over time.**

An **adjustable tree combined with wool-flocked panels** gives us valuable options to make those corrections along the way.

In my experience, horses returning to work after **pregnancy, injury or an extended break** can be some of the more challenging cases for the saddle fitter, rider and trainer alike. Their bodies aren't static — so we need to monitor how the back and topline develop and make changes when necessary.

For this mare, her owner ultimately chose a **JC One from our Basic Line, available for $3,000.**

And this isn't the end of her story. ❤️

**We'll keep you posted on her progress and bring you along for the ride as her body changes and she becomes stronger.**

WE FOUND OUR WAY BACK HOME! 😂🐴❤️

We have some exciting news!

After losing access to our original CAS Equestrian page last September, we created this page so we could stay connected with all of you.

Well…

After an accidental deep dive into the wild world of Meta Business and Facebook advertising, we somehow managed to reconnect with our ORIGINAL PAGE! 🎉🎉🎉

Apparently even my old brain can eventually figure out all the endless opportunities of modern technology. It just took me almost a year. 🤣🤣🤣

So now it’s time to bring everyone back together.

👉 We will be closing this page in 10 days, so please head over to our original CAS Equestrian LLC page and follow us there so you don’t miss anything!

And please accept my apologies for the Facebook-page musical chairs. 😂 I promise the horses and saddles are much easier for me to manage than Meta Business Suite.

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who followed us over here and stayed connected while we couldn't access our original page. ❤️

Now come on back over — we’re going home! 🐴🏡❤️

**We got our page back! 🥳🎉**

Thank you for following, supporting, sharing, shopping, and being part of the CAS Equestrian journey. We’re so happy to have this piece of our community back. ❤️🐴
