As the new Head Coach of the XC team, I want to invite everyone that isn’t playing a fall sport to come out to conditioning and try out cross country.

Cross country is a great way to prepare for your winter and spring sports by increasing your stamina and endurance. This will help athletes be prepared for various sports such as basketball, wrestling or track later on in the spring.

We have conditioning Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 7:30am to about 9am. I will be at conditioning at least once a week due to my job in Greenville but Coach Groom will be in attendance in my absence to give the athletes guidance that we have planned together.

We will begin official practice once school starts back at the beginning of August.

If anyone wants more information or wants to join us for conditioning feel free to message myself or Coach Groom and we’d be more than happy to help!

I hope everyone is having a great summer and I hope to see some new faces at conditioning!
