Back home from the SBN . This is one of our favorite venues + lots of great people that put on & support this event. We had another solid cook this week finishing with:

3rd Place: Anything Butt (Friday night)
3rd Place: Ribs
5th Place: Butts
3rd Place Overall

Congrats to on their GC, Steve Hampson on RGC + everyone that had their name called!

Taking next week off to kick off college football with my Gamecocks then back on the BBQ trail the following week.

Set up at the SBN at the . This is one of our favorite venues on the BBQ trail that has great people & great views! Nice turnout for the Anything Butt last night. We prepared some . Butts & Ribs have been turned in today - we'll see what the judges think.

Back home from the 2-6 Barbeque Throwdown in Fayetteville, NC. First off, hats off to Bruce Yeomans for a great job putting on this event!! Despite all the rain on Friday it was a great turnout of some of the top pitmasters from SC & NC.

We were very pleased with our Rib & Chicken boxes, not so much with Brisket. We ended up with:

Ribs: 5th
Chicken: 5th
Brisket: 7th

This landed us 5th overall in a very good field of cookers. Congrats to our good friends Jason Singletary on GC & Big Wallys Barbecue-Stephen Strong
on RGC + everyone that had their name called! It was great seeing some of our BBQ family + meeting new ones as well! As always, thanks to our great sponsors who supply us with great products:

Good morning from Fayetteville, NC! Lot of rain last night, but looks like everyone survived! ran great last night loaded down with Royal Oak Charcoal Charcoal! People & vendors are still coming in - hopefully the rain will hold off for a great day at the #2-6KABBQThrowDown. Time to get down to business. Good luck to everyone to competing today!!
